To be clear, when I ran for President last year, I supported Adam Ma'ruf for Comptroller. Adam was without a doubt the best candidate for the job.
However, I have since grown to appreciate Handverger as a competent and well-meaning individual. I will be interested to hear the charges against him, and will decide my opinion in an unbiased fashion.
Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this Sunday's Senate meeting. I will, however, be sending a proxy, and will keep you posted on events.
