The Senate is currently debating and amending the regulations for running for SG office from the Board of Elections. My effort to allow campaigning on the parking garage failed. Apparently, Student Activities will not allow this. Why they won't allow SG banners but will allow other clubs/organizations (ATV, Greek life) to put up banners is unclear.
Also, members of the SG are now allowed to endorse other candidates. So that is exciting. Look out for some endorsements on this blog in the future.
