MacCracken defends Prescott

On their Twitter page, the AU Examiner quotes President MacCracken as saying, "The Post Office Pavilion got all of the materials they asked for at least 30 days before the event, and we have proof of that."

Two things:
1. I love Twitter. It is basically where I get all of my news. If you don't have one, you should get one (and follow me @michaelmayer87). If you don't understand it, you're not using it right.
2. I am going to stop posting updates about this story for now. I imagine that there will be a lot of back and forth between the execs and the people that don't like the execs. I don't want to pass further judgement until the VP is allowed to speak before the Senate this Sunday.

Also, Jared MacNeil of Student Activities seems to come down on the side of Prescott. For more info, read The Eagle.

  1. One big question....

so Prescott was in charge of Arty Ward week, which--for all intents and purposes-- failed. Fine. Let's let that incident slide for the sake of argument.

So then he had from September until about a few weeks ago, essentially, to plan for Founders Day. Yet this now, too, seemingly failed because of poor planning and organization.

Contracts like these are indeed made MONTHS in advance and I have to believe the Pavillion. But my question is this... if this event Prescott was in charge of failed as well, then what has he been doing from September to February to justify his 20 hours of work each week in the SG office? He literally now has nothing to show for it. I'd like to see this question asked and answered at the meeting Sunday.
