  1. Didn't they have a person that was supposed to be only working on Founder's Day? What has she been doing all of this time?

  2. Jenny Kim has been working around the clock, barely sleeping, trying to get Founder's Day to happen. What happened was not her fault

  3. Wouldn't it be great it members of the SG took responsibility for their failures? The snow may have been a contributing factor, but that was A MONTH ago. They've had another month, and still couldn't put it together. This is $55,000 of our money WASTED. But then again, the SG wasting money is nothing new.

  4. I've got six syllables to explain why Founder's Day didn't happen: Doctor Karen Gerlach.

Yes, Alex Prescott and Jacqui Martin failed - due to both personal grievance and personal incompetence.

But there was another plan. Riley Fujisaki and Jenny Kim did outstanding work putting together a new Founder's Day - and the only reason that didn't go through was because Karen Gerlach said no.

The Student Government adapted. The Student Government overcame its problems. And Student Activities told the student body it couldn't have Founder's Day.
