Public Comment, Round Two

-Clerk Erin Waters criticizes the Senate for the general lack of civility during the entire debate. A sound point.

-Emily Beyer criticizes the Senate for certifying the Presidential election results. She claims that the arguments against decertification were not at all legitimate. Claims that the body did "what was easy instead of what was right."

-Jose Morales also criticizes the civility of the body, and expresses his disappointment with their approval of the election.

-Suspended VP Prescott says that he feels disrespected by the process that resulted in his suspension. He implores the Senate to consider the suspension process (which was only created last week). "Thank you guys for paying me for not being able to enter the office."

-Anthony Dunham also criticizes the Senate for being too egotistical and failing to focus on the issues, and for failing to work with the executives.

Also, Amanda Merkwae has resigned as Speaker.

What a day. More later.

  1. This whole process was a joke, but at the end of the day you look at the guy who's running the office and that's who won.
