After more than an hour...

President MacCracken is done testifying. At the pace of one hour per witness, this trial is going to take a very long time.

Overall, it does seem clear that the President, while he was very careful with his words, was not impressed w/ the Comptroller's job performance. Whether his apparent dissatisfaction is enough to persuade people to impeach remains to be seen.

There is now a motion to limit Senators to only three questions each per witness (with the exception of the complainants and the respondents) in order to moves things along. And the motion.... fails. Currently the session is scheduled to end at 2 am. But there could be many long nights after this.

The next witness: Chris Guizlo, FSE Coordinator (for the Complainant)
