EXCLUSIVE

A statement, given exclusively to this blog, from Senator Steve Dalton, mentioned by The Eagle in a conspiracy to impeach Handverger. See here.
"At no point was I part of any consorted effort to bring down Comptroller Handverger. Like my eighteen other colleagues with a vote on this issue, I will judge this case on the facts presented and not on any misguided allegations of conspiracy which are largely unsubstantiated and without merit. I look forward to the speedy resolution of this trial so that the Undergraduate Senate can proceed to deal with issues that substantively affect the students of American University. I wish The Eagle would have come to me prior to filing a skeleton of a news report."
It should be noted that Mr. Dalton appears to be the lone Senator not complying with the dress code. We'll see how that goes. It should also be noted, in my opinion, the Mr. Dalton is among the fairest and most thorough of the Undergraduate Senators, and any accusations of some sort of conspiracy are almost certainly outrageous.
