A good point, Mr. Speaker

Speaker Dunham sent out an email to members of the Undergraduate Senate early this morning. His message was simple: "Of the bills/resolutions that are currently on the agenda, all of them deal with internal structure."

And it is true. The Senate, in the short time that I have been a part of it, has not done a single thing to make a difference in the lives of the students we represent. And again, we wonder why nobody cares about us.

What am I going to do about it? I'm currently working on a bill, more details to come soon.

For those of you that do have an intense interest in the internal workings of the SG, there will be a Special Session Tuesday night at 11:15 to address President MacCracken's veto of the BALLAST Bill, which is basically a bill that says the applications of people applying to be a part of the cabinet must be available for the Senate to review before they confirm the folks. Riveting, I know.
