Very impressed by the turnout. I would guess that much of this is due to the high profile the Senate got from the impeachment hearings. Why anybody would have looked at nightly meetings that went until 2 am and thought to themselves, "Hm, I'd like to participate in that" is beyond me. But this is good nonetheless. The race for the at-large seats as well as the Class of 2013 seats should be tough.
