Prescott gives opening statement

He is the only witness allowed to have made an opening statement. He says that he has known Handverger since he got to AU, and states that what he is about to say is nothing personal. He emphasizes all of the work that he put into his job as VP, and claims that he did not see the Comptroller in the office as often as the other executives. Not only was he not present in the office regularly, but he also cites an important meeting for which Handverger was unprepared. Prescott also says that he and MacCracken Skyped into meetings when they were at home, but Handverger was not willing to do so.

BREAKING NEWS: VP Prescott was also the one that approached Senator Alves with the initial accusations against Handverger. Senator Dalton asks if he talked to the Comptroller before going to Senator Alves. The VP claims that he discussed his concerns with the Comptroller throughout the summer.
